Obituary of Victor Francis DeGeorge
Victor Francis DeGeorge, 95, of Boonton Township, NJ, formerly Lincoln Park, NJ, passed away on Monday, January 29, 2024. He was born in Brooklyn, NY. He graduated from Brooklyn Technical High School and served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. He had a 35-year career as a Divisional Claims Manager for the Fireman's Fund in New York City and retired in 1993. He was an active parishioner and choir member of St. Joseph's R.C. Church in Lincoln Park. In his leisure time, he volunteered for Habitat for Humanity. He was a loving husband to the late Maureen Morris DeGeorge. He was the father of Christopher DeGeorge, his wife Flora of Morristown, NJ, Philip DeGeorge of Cambridge, MA, and Andrew DeGeorge of West Caldwell, NJ, and a brother of the late Vincent DeGeorge. He will be missed by his two grandchildren, Max and Owen DeGeorge. On Tuesday, February 6th, there will be a funeral Mass at St. Joseph's R.C. Church, 216 Comly Road, Lincoln Park, NJ, followed by a repast at The Columbia Inn in Montville. Friends and family are invited to come.
