Dorothy Smith, 74, of Pequannock, New Jersey passed away surrounded by loved ones on May 6, 2023.

Dorothy was born on July 9, 1948, in Paterson, New Jersey, where she lived most of her life. She worked as a bookkeeper for many years, before retiring to be a stay-at-home grandmother. Her greatest joy was raising her daughters and helping to care for her grandchildren and grand puppy. She loved going to the beach, spending time at the library, listening to music on her record player, and her work with the Columbiettes.

She will be terribly missed by her beloved family, daughter Peggy-Ann Stark and husband Jon Stark, daughter Barbara-Ann Smith, and grandchildren Samantha Ritter and husband Justin Ritter, AshleyStark, Tyler Stark, grand puppies Jace and Dawson,sister MaryAnn Watkins, and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and close friends. She was preceded in death by her parents Joseph Grames and Anna Grames, brother David Grames, and sisters, Gloria Sherman, Jo-Ann Curving, and Margaret Mault.

There will be a Celebration of Life on Tuesday May 9, 2023 at Keri-Lozito Funeral Home, 125 Main Street, Lincoln Park, NJ from 4-7 PM. Funeral Liturgy at St. Joseph’s R.C. Church, 216 Comly Road, Lincoln Park, NJ 07035 on Wednesday, May 10, 2023 at 10 AM. Please Meet at the Church.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Dorothy’s honor to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital .
