I am so sorry, I just learned that Dorothy passed. Met her in 2013 and became her Agent & friend. One of the kindest people I ever met and a beautiful, family first Mom and Grandmother. She was so proud of her family.
RIP Love Renee Drumm

Our deepest sympathy to Barbie, Peg and entire family. Dorothy moved in next door to us in late 1990’s in West Milford. We were fortunate to meet her and Granny. They were like family sharing laughs, meals and awesome cookies and cakes at holiday times She was like a second mother to us and a grandparent to our children. We moved in 2002 and maintained our relationship with her, she was an amazing person. I will always remember her love for Elton John. I know the faith based person she was and I’m sure she is reunited with Granny. God bless all. Dorothy we will forever miss you xo xo.

Dorothy, and really her entire family, were wonderful people to live next to. Her door was always open, and she always had a joke and a smile. I remember her love for Elvis, which sparked my own interest in Elvis in particular, and music in general. She would let me look through all of her Elvis albums and play them on the stereo for me. As a young kid it was so nice to have a positive influence living so close by and I am forever grateful to Dorothy for helping my sister in particular through some personal life moments. While I wasn't nearly as close to her as my sister was, I still very much enjoyed all of the parties, barbecues and kindness from the family next door : Granny Grames, Mr. Grames, Peggy, Barbie, and of course, Dorothy. My deepest condolences to everyone, my heart breaks for you all.She will be missed.

Dorothy and I met living at Pequannock Senior Housing 8 years ago. We became good friends. I cannot begin to explain the loss I feel. We would talk about our families. Hers meant everything to her. I have seldom met a more devoted grandmother. I will miss watching tv with her, going to Saint Mary’s Active Seniors meetings and going to their annual Christmas party. It will not be the same without her. My condolences to her family. Love and God Bless you all.

Q: What was one of your favorite qualities of Dorothy?
A: Dorothy, I was so sorry to hear that I could not be able to be there for your family. You were always such a role model to me and the love and care you show to your children and grandchildren each and every day of your life. We were involved in so many things between school and Girl Scouts and I truly treasured you as a friend, blessings upon the rest of your family during this difficult time
With much love and prayers,
Toni Smith

I could go on forever about Dorothy. Literally she has been there my entire life. Her house was always open, so many childhood memories. She was always there to talk to, to listen, and gave the best advice. She saved me in many ways and part of who I am today is because of Dorothy. What an amazing person. She made everyone smile . She was loved by so many. My heart aches for her whole family..Peggy, Barbara and her amazing grandchildren who were her world. We will miss her so very much. ILOVE YOU DOROTHY. ..."Waka Waka" ..pork chops and applesauce!
