Maureen was truly one of the greatest women I have ever been privileged to know. Her spirit was full of grace, kindness and love for life and her family. Her marriage to Robert was a great love story and I was honored that she shared so many tales of their years together creating an amazing home that was always welcome to everyone. Maureen was so proud of each of her grandchildren and her unconditional love and admiration would always show through in the way they made her smile. Her seven children were perhaps her great accomplishment in life and they each in their very own way have a part of her spirit in their personalities. She always embraced her children’s spouses as her own children and considered herself so blessed to have such a large and fantastic family.
To me Maureen was like a mother and my love for her was like a daughter. She gave me everything in our friendship – love, compassion, understanding, laughter and wisdom. I will miss her for the rest of my days.
To all of the Lang family, thank you for sharing Maureen. I know that she flew on wings of angels to be with Robert and I know her love will always be with you because she loved you with an everlasting love.
