Obituary of Edward H. Waysek, Jr.

Edward H. Waysek, Jr. went to be with his Savior on July 18, 2021.

Ed was raised in Clifton, NJ and lived in Lincoln Park, NJ with his family for 43 years. He recently moved to Northern Virginia where he enjoyed regular visits with his granddaughters. Ed devoted his career to working on vitamins and dietary supplements at Hoffmann-LaRoche in Nutley, NJ for 37 years and Caravan Ingredients in Totowa, NJ for 10 years. 

While working at Roche Headquarters in Basel, Switzerland, Ed started his PhD in Analytical Chemistry at the Université Louis Pasteur in Strasbourg, France and completed it in 2001. Ed was a 50+ year member of the American Chemical Society and enjoyed sharing his expertise with AOAC International and U.S. Pharmacopeia. 

Ed was a member of Grace Bible Church in North Haledon, NJ where he had served as Superintendent of Sunday School and as usher. 

Ed is survived by his wife Linda, daughter and son-in-law Beth and Jim Whitehead, son Eddie, daughter Rebecca, granddaughters Evie and Zoe, and sister Marianne. 

Funeral Service at Keri Memorial Funeral Home, 125 Main Street Lincoln Park, NJ on Saturday, July 24, 2021 at 10 AM.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Grace Bible Church Missions Fund in North Haledon, NJ or Capital Caring Health in Falls Church, VA.
