I had the privilege to meet Ed long back when he was in Switzerland for Hofmann La Roche - over the past 20 years we developed a close friendship and Ed was instrumental with his tremendous support for the start of our company for which we will always be thankful
we have lost a true friend and supporter and will keep him in our memories.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Linda and family at this sad time. We have many fond memories of Ed as a neighbor, coaching girls softball, & church activities. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends & is safe in the arms of Jesus.

It was such an honor to meet Ed for the first time only about a week before his passing when Beth brought me over for a visit. Even though he was sick, he was making jokes and making me laugh! What a gentle, smart, man! I only wish I had known him better! The Waysek family is also so beautiful and thanks be to God that they were able to all be together during Ed's final days. We so badly wanted to celebrate Ed's life on this Earth and honor him at the memorial service in person, but we will be unable to attend. We are actively praying for all members of the Waysek family as you navigate through the grief and loss of this wonderful man. We pray that the grace and peace of Christ and the knowledge that you will one day be re-united with him in the presence of the Almighty will help comfort you through the process.
Love,
Maria, Tim, and Elliana Rafalco

The Gemians send our condolences to the Wayseck familly. We knew Ed for many years and were in several bible studies together. I especially enjoyed talking with Ed as a fellow healthcare professional in the pharmaceutical industry.

Linda and Ed have been the best friends any one could have. So many memories of times we spent together. Really missed them with the move to Virginia and so sad to hear about Ed's passing. But Ed is is better place, his Heavenly home and with Jesus. Our prayers are with the whole family at this time. Rest in peace Ed. You will be missed. Love from Linda and John.

We in the analytical sciences will miss Ed and his expertise and collaborative efforts. These things are always hard to take, no matter what the circumstances, but we have many good memories of Ed so he lives on in our hearts and minds. Condolences to the immediate family who I am sure will miss him far more than we do. May he rest in peace.

My condolences go out to Ed’s family. Over the years, I have had the pleasure of working with Ed in the sciences at USP and AOAC. He was a significant contributor to the advancement of nutritional science. I am deeply saddened by his passing and will miss working with him. God speed Ed. You were a good man.

My heartfelt condolences go out to Ed's family. He was a towering presence in the nutrition research community. A terrific man, with a good mind and common sense, he had an ardent devotion to both science and public service. A genuinely nice man, Ed will be greatly missed.

Oh, Dad! So many great memories with you! Too many words to share here, but what a blessing that God was so merciful and generous to us through the very end of your existence on Earth. I imagine you up there in Heaven, talking away with folks like you're at Shop Rite x 10^6. Love you and miss you, but so joyful to know where you are and that I'll see you in eternity! -- Love, R :)

My deepest condolences go out to Ed Waysek’s family and innumerable friends. Ed will always be remembered as a consummate (analytical chemistry) colleague and cherished friend.
Ed had an initimable command of his chops and was a breath-taking sight to behold in when in action, such as having the audacity to hold his own incontestable ground against lesser practitioners including, believe it or not, a vaunted President of AOAC.
Which thus brings to mind none other than Thomas Paine: He who dares not to offend cannot be honest.
R.I.P. my dear friend.
