Mary OFerrell, 96, of Wind Gap, PA, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 19, 2025. Born in West New York, NJ, Mary lived in Paterson, NJ, and Haledon, NJ, before settling in Wind Gap. She worked as a school bus aid for Station Wagon Services in Totowa, NJ, until her retirement. A devout Catholic, Mary was a former parishioner of St. Mary’s R.C. Church and St. Gerard’s R.C. Church in Paterson, as well as St. Paul’s R.C. Church in Prospect Park, NJ. She most recently attended St. Elizabeth R.C. Church in Penn Argyle, PA. Mary cherished time with her family, enjoyed playing Bingo, and loved visiting casinos.

She was the beloved wife of the late Martin OFerrell, devoted mother of Phyllis OFerrell Zayas (husband Gibson), Karen OFerrell Wauchek (husband Keith), David OFerrell (wife Bertha), and Martin OFerrell (and his late wife Jennifer). She was the loving grandmother of Andrew and Samuel,OFerrell, and Joshua Wauchek and a dear sister to the late Josephine, Jenny, Louie, Angelo, and Rita Valentino. She is also survived by her bonus grandchildren, Gibson and Daniel Zayas as well as many nieces and nephews.
