Dolores Hank, a cherished resident of Belleville, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on December 4, 2024, in West Milford, New Jersey, at the age of 95. Born on March 20, 1929, in Newark, New Jersey, Dolores was the beloved daughter of Chester and Elizabeth Wis.
Dolores was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Edward Hank, and her brother, Robert Wis. She is fondly remembered by her nephews and niece, Robert, Ronald, and Jacqueline, as well as her great-nieces and nephews, Christina, Alisha, Matthew, Leah, Ronald Jr., Thomas, and Michael, all of whom she adored deeply.
A dedicated professional, Dolores spent her career working in the Actuarial department at Prudential, where she was respected for her diligence and expertise. Beyond her professional life, Dolores was known for her generous spirit and unwavering commitment to volunteerism. She was actively involved in numerous organizations, including the Prudential Retirement Association, the New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC), the Community Emergency Response Team (CERT), and served as an election poll worker. Her willingness to lend a helping hand and her dedication to community service left a lasting impact on all who knew her.
Dolores had a passion for world travel, which enriched her life with diverse experiences and friendships across the globe. Her adventurous spirit and love for exploration were a testament to her vibrant personality and zest for life.
Dolores Hank will be remembered for her kindness, generosity, and the love she shared with her family and community.
