Maryanne Galiger, 81, of Montville passed away peacefully of November 25, 2024. She was born and raised in Wallington, NJ, and Moved to Montville over 30 years ago. Maryann was a longtime parishioner of St. Michaels the Archangel Byzantine Catholic Cathedral where she spent much of her time volunteering. She started as a labor and delivery nurse at St. Mary's Hospital in Passaic then worked at Bristol Manor Long Term Care Facility, before finishing her career as a public health nurse in Montville NJ for the last 25 years.

She is the dear wife of John Galiger. Loving mother of John Galiger, Laurie Catania and her husband Rocco, and the late Thomas Galiger. Beloved grandmother of John Rocco Catania. Dear sister of the late John and Fred Chastek. Aunt to nieces Nicole and Chrissy, and nephew Freddie and great aunt to their children

Viewing will be held on Wednesday November 27, 2024, at Keri-Lozito Funeral Home, 125 Main Street, Lincoln Park, NJ from 9AM-10 AM, with a Funeral Liturgy at Saint Michael the Archangel Byzantine Catholic Cathedral, 112 1st Street, Passaic, NJ to follow at 11 AM.
