Obituary of Michael Pellechia

Please share a memory of Michael to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Michael Pellechia, cherished brother to Connie Pellechia, Mary Anne Schwartz, Beth Monroe and the late Vic Pellechia died peacefully on Wednesday November 20th at the age of 69.
Michael is the son of the late Eliabeth Pellechia (Doyle) and the late Victor E. Pellechia and was a long-time resident of Wayne NJ.  Despite prolonged illness, Michael was always ready to greet family and friends with a warm welcome, a humorous story, and deep knowledge on almost any topic you could mention.
He and his elder brother Vic loved nothing better in their youth than the opportunity to caddie at the local country club.  Michael was so well respected that a leading businessman presented Michael with season tickets to his beloved Yankees, tickets he shared with his sister Connie and his dad who shared his Yankee passion.
Family meant everything to Michael.  He spent many hours taking his nephews out for ice cream, or to take in a movie. His family takes comfort that Michael is now home with his big brother, his mom and his dad.  Happily re-united, there is no doubt that they are sharing jokes, stories and laughing at all of life’s little absurdities, another favorite pastime for Mike, Vic, and Victor.

Michael  leaves behind sisters Connie Pellechia, Mary Anne Schwartz and Elizabeth Monroe and dear sister-in-law Amy Pellechia. Michael was the beloved uncle of many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and many cousins.

There will be a graveside service at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, 52 Totowa Road, Totowa NJ 07512 on Saturday November 23, 2024 at 10:30 AM

God bless you, Michael.  You have run the race and reached the finish line.  Rest easy now.
