Obituary of Betty Corso

Betty Corso, a lifelong resident of Lincoln Park, NJ, passed away on Friday, November 8, 2024, in Arizona at the age of 100. Born in Newark, NJ, Betty spent 65 years in Lincoln Park, where she became a cherished member of the community. She was deeply involved in her faith and served as a Eucharistic Minister at St. Joseph’s R.C. Church in Lincoln Park for many years.

Betty’s hobbies reflected her warm and creative spirit. She enjoyed crocheting, collecting character figures, and making afghans. Her cooking and baking, especially during the holidays, brought her joy and comfort to those around her. She also loved vacationing in Arizona, where she had a second home.

Betty is survived by her loving sons, Martin J. Corso and Frank Corso, as well as her beloved dog, Coby. She is also survived by her brother, Philip Aguanno, and his wife, Mary; her niece, Carol Kuhles, and her husband, Erick; and her grandnieces, Erica Spirko and her husband, Frank, and Jenna D’Elio and her husband, Ricky.

Friends and family are invited to pay their respects at Keri-Lozito Funeral Home, 125 Main Street, Lincoln Park, NJ, on Sunday from 1-4 PM. A funeral will be held from the funeral home on Monday at 9:00 AM, followed by a Mass at 10:00 AM at St. Joseph’s R.C. Church, 216 Comly Road, Lincoln Park, NJ. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover, NJ.
