Barbara Carneal Obituary

Barbara Carneal (91) of Towaco, formerly of Brooklyn passed away peacefully on Saturday July 26th, 2024 at Chilton Medical Center surrounded by her family. Barbara was born on March 11th, 1933 and was the daughter of the late Antonio and Concetta Varano. Barbara is survived by her two sons Joseph D’Agostino (Joan) of Towaco, NJ and Anthony D’Agostino (Laura) of Boca Raton, Florida and step daughter Dorothy of Florida. She is also survived by her sister Roseann (Vincent) Scotti of Colts Neck, NJ. Along with her six granddaughters Gina, Dianna, Jessica, Lisa, Susan, bonus grand daughter Tammi and five great grandchildren Brielle, Colin, Luke, Grayson, and Savannah. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and dear friends that are her family. She is preceded by her beloved husband Chet Carneal. Barbara was an avid chef of Italian cuisine as well as a baker. Her passion, besides her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren was her love of music and playing the piano. Barbara was also a diehard Mets fan. Her love of music, baseball, and cooking will live on in all of her children, grandchildren, great grand children, friends and family whose lives she has touched. Funeral Service on Wednesday, July 31, 2024 at Keri-Lozito Funetal Home, 125 Main Street, Lincoln Park, NJ at 9 am. Interment, Ressurection Cemetery, Staten Island, NY. Visiting on Tuesday, July 30, 2024 from 4-8 pm.
