Obituary of Carmen Bastante

Carmen was born in Sicily on January 18, 1946 to Paul & Josephine Bastante. He came from Sicily to the United States in 1953 and resided in Paterson until being recruited by the Army in 1963. After leaving the Army, he married and had 2 sons. His entire life he worked as a General Construction Contractor. He enjoyed playing soccer and was a referee in his later years. He is survived by his son Carmen and his wife Gina, and his son Paul. He has 5 Grandchildren, Joseph, Leah, Julia, Kyra and Jaxon whom he loved and was so very proud of. He is also survived by his brother Frank and wife Sylvia, sister Josephine and husband Stephen Emolo, sister Tina and husband Paul Vatrano and sister Diane and husband Joseph Grimes along with numerous nieces and nephews. A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Joseph's R. C. Church, 216 Comly Road, Lincoln Park, NJ 07035 on Saturday, August 10, 2024 at 11 am.
