Obituary of Rose Laricchia
Mrs. Rose Laricchia was born on October 11,1917. Beautiful, elegant, and strong, Rose would have been 106 today. Born in Bari, Italy, Rose, came to the United States at the age of 19. Rose became an American citizen, and was so very proud and honored, she so loved America with all her heart. Rose was married to Trifone Laricchia for 47 years until his passing in 1983.
Rose and Trifone owned an Italian American deli, Laricchia's, in the Bronx for many years. They worked extremely hard and long hours, they were always there to offer a loving extended hand to all in the community, truly a family business. Rose and Trifone were blessed with three wonderful and loving children. Daughter Anna Pucciarelli, RN, and two sons, Gene and Sam Laricchia, both pharmacists. Rose and Trifone were also blessed with loving and caring daughters- in-law, Patricia and Adrian, son-in-law Paul, seven grandchildren, three great grandchildren, six nieces and three nephews. Rose always put her family and friends first, she would do anything for anyone. Rose
especially loved her family parties, making sure everyone would be together. Rose would cook endless amounts of homemade food, and her incredible three original recipe pizzas were absolutely delicious. Rose so loved life, Saint Anthony, and the Lord, and for 105 years she lived and cherished every day as a blessing.
Funeral at Keri-Lozito Funeral Home, 125 Main Street, Lincoln Park, NJ, on Saturday October 14, 2023 at 9 AM. Entombment to follow at St. Raymonds Cemetery in the Bronx, NY. Visiting on Friday October 13, from 4-8 PM
