Gloria L. Maietta passed away peacefully at home in Wayne, NJ on Tuesday, September 19, 2023. Beloved daughter of the late Mattia Febbi and Irene Febbi (nee Tarquino). She was born and raised in Paterson before moving to Totowa, NJ 73 years ago with her loving husband Felix S. Maietta. For many years she owned and operated Felix’s Theater Parties with Felix. She played an important role in the family business known as Riviera Travel Bureau in Paterson. Later she worked at her son Gregory’s business Riviera Income Tax and Check Cashing also in Paterson. She supported her husband and family faithfully throughout all their endeavors and she took great pleasure in traveling the world with her family over the years. She was a member of the Optimist Club in Paterson where she also served as secretary. Devoted mother of Gregory Maietta and his wife Hilda of Wayne and the late Felix (infant), Anthony, and Philip Maietta. Her pride and joy were her three grandsons, Anthony Matthew and his wife Leslie of Connecticut, Gregory James and his wife Yessi of Quantico, VA and Justin Michael of Brooklyn, NY. Cherished great grandmother of Morrison Alexander, Raven Rose, and Winter Lynn. She also is survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins and Gregory’s dog, Kairi and Justin’s dog, Nova (Missie).
