George you will always have a special place in my life & my memories. I was just a kid when I met you, still a kid when I backed your Audi into an unmarked police car! And I felt like a kid again today when I came to say farewell. I have 30 years of memories. The City Grouting days, vacations, legendary New Years Eve celebrations and so much more. I’m fortunate to have known you and stayed close all these years. I’ll miss you for sure. There was never a time you didn’t have an idea in your mind & the determination to see it come to life. You’ve left quite an impressive legacy!
Much love & support to everyone in my extended family. Rest easy George. ♥️

Scott Laubshire as I sit here today and reflect on this last week-please know I am here for you always and love you with all my heart. I know today is going to be one of the hardest day you have to endure but just take my hand and I will be by your side the whole time. Today we put aside the rough times and remember the good times with your dad! The poker games, three card poker, our late night trips to MT Airy, our Saturday morning talks watching gun smoke and drinking our coffee together and me calling him pops and him calling me America!! This is the George I will remember!! As time begins to heal, we will take a trip to Mt airy and put three hundred down on 3 card for good old George!! I love you and remember you will always have me and your crazy girls.

Uncle G ,
To get to know you was nothing less than such an honor ❤️ I have missed and will continue to miss our conversations and your helpful advice . You were an amazing man with the biggest heart and funniest sense of humor . I know how much you loved your family and I loved you too . Now you can be at peace with your love again . I’m playing some online casinos games and you’d be happy to know I’ve won ! love you always , Janelle

I didn't get to know George that long, but very quickly I knew he was someone I liked and respected. He was tough and funny and had a great work ethic which he taught to others. He will be missed.
My heart goes out to the Laubshire family on the loss of George. May his memory be a blessing.
