Obituary of Sophia Krotoff

Sophia Krotoff (nee Ivanoff), 89, of Boonton, NJ passed away on Monday, July 10, 2023.  She was born in Kharkiv, Ukraine and came to the United States in 1950 and settled in New York, NY.  She lived in Passaic, NJ, Wallington, NJ, Paterson, NJ, Wayne, NJ and Montville, NJ before moving to Boonton.  She was an Marketing Executive for Hintec International for 15 years and retired in 1994.  She was a founding member of St. Michael's R.O. Church (Paterson) in Wayne, NJ where she was a member of the choir and the Sisterhood.  Beloved wife of the late Vladimir Hintz.  Devoted mother of Oleg Krotoff and his wife Helen and Helena Alves.  Loving grandmother of Elizabeth Alves, Alexei Krotoff, Victor Krotoff and Ariana Krotoff.  She is also survived by her cousin Lydia Sowvetov.  Funeral Service on Thursday, July 13, 2023 at St. Michael's R.O. Cathedral. 170 Colfax Avenue, Wayne, NJ at 10 AM.  Interment, Novo DiVeevo Cemetery, Spring Valley, NY.  Panahida at St. Michael's R.O. Church on Wednesday at 1 PM and at 6 PM.
