Obituary of Maria Krakowski
Prolifically stoic, Maria Krakowski, passed away on June 27, 2023, in her home in Lincoln Park, NJ after a nine (9) month battle with cancer. Unequivocally loving, she will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate to share this earth with her.
She was one of a kind, always putting the needs of her family before her own. Maria was a strong woman who faced every challenge in this life with courage and dignity. Through her strength and exceptional kind nature, she was a constant source of inspiration to us all. To say she will be deeply missed by everyone, is an understatement.
Born in Poland, arriving to America in 1965, she had a gift with children, that led her to teach Kindergarten, both in Poland and the United States. Being born with a green thumb, she lived to garden. However, her foremost talent would be pierogi making, which some would argue were the best.
Maria was a woman of strong religious faith, cultivating a close knit community of friends within St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Lincoln Park, NJ and Holy Rosary R.C. Church in Passaic, NJ. Her religious peers will miss her dearly.
Coming from a large family, she left behind a slew of people who loved her. She was predeceased by her parents, Antoni & Jadwiga (Bladek) Dul. Her late siblings include: Franek Dul, Sabina and her husband Emil Pielka, her late brother Joseph Dul. She is survived by her sister Valerie Gebolys, her brother Stanley Dul and his wife Sophie, her brother John Dul and his wife Irene, her sister Helen Maxwell and her husband Joseph and her brother Bogusław Dul and his wife Teresa and her sister-in-law Krystyna Dul. Her children include: Krystyna Bond and her husband Jack, Eva Taormina & Joanne L. Krakowski. Her grandchildren include: Richard Bond and his Fiance Katie, Ryan Bond and his wife Amy, Matthew Bond, Nicholas Taormina & Michael Taormina.
