Obituary of Elsie Sanchez-Garcia

Elsie Sanchez-Garcia, 92, of Hopatcong, NJ passed away on Monday, May 29, 2023.  She was born in Manati, PR and lived in Paterson for many years before moving to Hopatcong in 2015.  Before retiring, she was a seamstress for Larry Levine Coats in Paterson, NJ.  She was a former parishioner of St. Brendan R.C. Church in Clifton, NJ.  Beloved wife of Armindo Cortes-Perales.  Devoted mother of Armindo Cortes, Jr., Lourdes Cortez, Nancy Cortes, Yvette Cortes and Jeannette Cortez.  Loving grandmother of Alina Cortes, Elsie Iris Sanabria, Jennifer Lynn Garcia, Andrew Richard Garcia and Daniel Garcia.  Cherished great-grandmother of Edith and Mason Sanabria and Brent Anthony and Bradley Fernandez.  She was predeceased by four brothers and nine sisters.  Visiting on Thursday, June 1, 2023 at Keri- Lozito Funeral Home,125 Main Street, Lincoln Park, NJ from 4-8 PM.  All other services will take place in Puerto Rico.
