Obituary of Alice M. DeFalco

Please share a memory of Alice to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Alice M. DeFalco (nee Hagmann) 86, of Lincoln Park passed away peacefully in her home on Friday January 6, 2023. Alice was born in Paterson, New Jersey, but was a lifelong resident of Lincoln Park, New Jersey. She worked for her brother as a waitress at Tomais (a restaurant which was located in Wayne, NJ). She then continued her employment at Laidlaw bus company in Lincoln Park, NJ for over 15 years as a bus driver for special needs students. She was a member of the Twins and Triplets club where she loved performing different activities such as ceramic painting, wreath making (during the holiday season), and more! She also joined the gardening club because she liked to converse with other individuals, plus it was a hobby that she found to be enjoyable. While she was at her home, she loved the presence of her rose bushes and lilac trees. Every day, Alice would spend quality time with her good friends, Betty Lougheed and Nancy McGilp. She was a loving and caring person that would give the shirt off her back to help anyone in need. She will be missed by many. Alice is predeceased by her two caring husbands Alfred Bower and August DeFalco. Surviving are her children Daniel Bower and his fiancee Ingrid, Donna Bower, and Helen Wilson and her husband Dean. Grandmother of Destani Bower, Bryan Wilson and his wife Abby. Great grandmother of Elijah Wilson. Predeceased by parents Edward Hagmann and Margaret Hagmann (Miller), son Robert Bower, brother Edward Hagmann and sister Helen DeCumber.

As per Alice’s wishes, the family will not be hosting a memorial service, but invite you to share your memories and messages in the guestbook. If desired, a donation can be made in her honor to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital .
