Dezi J. Folenta, 88, of Lincoln Park, NJ passed away on Sunday, December 18, 2022. He was born in Michalvoce, Czechoslovakia and came to the United States in 1950 and settled in Elizabeth, NJ. He lived in Fairfield, NJ before moving to Lincoln Park in 1996. He was the Mechanical Engineer and was the owner of Transmission Technology Company of Lincoln Park, NJ. He was a parishioner of St. Joseph's R.C. Church in Lincoln Park where served as a Eucharistic Minister. He was a member of the Society of Naval Architects and Marine Design Engineers. He served in the United States Army from 1954 - 1956. Beloved husband of Margaret Folenta (nee Pegler). Devoted father of Michael Folenta and his wife Sheila, Donna Preziosi and her husband Mario, Sandra Catto and her husband Iskender and Steven Folenta and his wife Laura. Dear brother of the late Anna Kamas and George and John Folenta. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren.
