Obituary of Antonietta Monteleone

Antonietta Monteleone (nee Saladino), 88, of Lincoln Park, NJ passed away on Saturday, September 10, 2022.  She was born in Joppolo, Calabria, Italy and came to the United States in 1955. She lived in Garfield, NJ and Wallington, NJ before moving to Lincoln Park in 1968.  She retired to Wildwood Crest, NJ before moving back to Lincoln Park 4 years ago.  She was a seamstress for All Star Fashions in Paterson, NJ.  She was a parishioner of St. Joseph's R.C. Church in Lincoln Park and a member of the Columbiettes and the Womans Elks.  She loved her beautiful garden, flowers and cooking for her family and any company that entered her home.  She made sure everyone looked forward to the holidays and her cooking. Beloved wife of 65 years of Vincenzo Monteleone.  Devoted mother of Francesca Logan of Arizona, Maria Sisti and her husband Joseph of Lincoln Park, Lucia Luzzi and her husband Joseph of Lincoln Park and Vincent Monteleone and his wife Cherie of Montville, NJ.  Loving grandmother of Damion Logan (Tina), Christina Trotta (Brendan), Valentino Sisti (Lindsay Ann), Daniella Carletto (Jonathan), Natalia Cappello (Frank), Anthony DiMezza (Krista), Brianna Logan, Brendan Monteleone and Sarah Monteleone.  Cherished great grandmother of Gabriel Logan, Elijah Logan, Lana Trotta, Raphael Logan, Antonina Cappello, Lorenzo Sisti, Lorelai Trotta, Francesco Cappello, Gianni Carletto, Cristian Sisti and Vincenzo Carletto.  Dear sister of Anthony Saladino, Lillian Costa, Valentino Saladino and the late Joseph and Dominic Saladino.  She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.  Funeral from Keri Memorial Funeral Home, 125 Main Street, Lincoln Park, NJ on Wednesday at 9 AM.  Funeral Liturgy at St. Joseph's R.C. Church, 216 Comly Road, Lincoln Park, NJ at 10 AM.  Entombment, Laurel Grove Memorial Park, Totowa, NJ.  Visiting on Tuesday from 4-8 PM.  Memorial gifts to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation would be appreciated.
