Catherine Forte (nee Valeo) 83, of Fairfield, NJ passed away on August 12, 2022. Catherine was born in Freeland, PA. She grew up in Belleville, NJ where she attended Belleville High School. She then moved to Bloomfield, NJ, and then later, Montville, NJ. She lived in Toms River, NJ for the past 25 years before moving to Fairfield last year.

Catherine was a manager of Cards Galore in Irvington, NJ for 25 years, and retired in 1996. She enjoyed line dancing, crafting, and loved going to Atlantic City. She also had an affinity for Elvis.

Catherine was the beloved daughter of the late Leonardo Valeo and the late Mary Valeo (nee Alimecco); wife of the late Frank Forte; devoted mother of Anita Frost and her husband Ronald, and Christine Murphy and her husband Michael; and cherished grandmother of her “little mermaids” Rachel and Jessica Frost, and Valerie and Jacqueline Murphy.

Visiting hours: Saturday August 27, 2022, 12-3PM at Keri Memorial Funeral Home, 125 Main Street, Lincoln Park, NJ 07035. The Priest will be giving a service at 2:45 to close out the visiting hours.”
