My Uncle Vinnie, My mom, Connie Blois Bruno’s brother . I recall many minstrel shows he performed in, at Chapel Hill School Great actor, good voice, funny jokes, hysterical custumn. . I remember Uncle Vinnie and Uncle Ed McNulty, on the top of the roof, on a home they were building together on Ryerson Road here in Lincoln Park. Uncle Vinnie was very talented and wrote plenty of songs, and I would sing along with the record, to many like the Hawaiian Wedding song, Janet, Wall Flower, and others, but my favorite song I only heard about 7 years ago called : I want to squeeze your red nose Santa. A must to play for Christmas, I recall how proud Uncle Vinnie was when he drove up to the home, that my father Joseph Charles Bruno built at 37 Park Avenue , Lincoln Park, with a brand new car, and The convertible top was down, it was a beautiful day, He was so excited, he had his family in the car. He was showing off the way the top goes down, electric into the trunk. A one of a kind. Good Kind! He must have pushed that button a few times. A slice of Heaven had come down and arrived . The smile was beyond happy it was Joyful. I always loved seeing my Uncle, and he was so handsome, I love those dimples. I miss you already my treasured Uncle . The gathering of the party up there is going on everyone excited, more then when you were born. And everyone stood around to welcome you. You finally did it, you did extremely well, and God said thank you, and you finished, and got your degree, you graduated, your diploma, finally returned back home which your soul looked so forward to leaving the body, that moment, Oh what a special day. Great Uncle Vinny! You were a Real Blessing to Many, Many, Generations! We Celebrate your Life and Legacy! I was touched by your smile, personality, and pulling my ears, when I was a kid..(lol) as well as your Loving Character!
