Obituary of Katharina Glandorf

Katharina Glandorf of Spring Hill, FL, formerly of Pequannock, NJ, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on April 7, 2022 at the age of 82.  Katharina was born on February 25, 1940 in Yugoslavia to a large German family.  She came to America with part of her family at the age of 12.  She became a seamstress and then waitressed for many years, in which she enjoyed socializing and serving others.  She was a devoted loving wife to the love of her life, Claus, for 62 years.  She was a loving mother to her two children Donna Nelson-Castelonia and Richard Glandorf, and their spouses Carol and Bill.   She deeply loved her grandchildren, Marissa (Cardinali) Bingler and her spouse Robbie, Steven Cardinali  and his spouse Amber, and Jason and Ava Glandorf.  She was blessed with and adored her two great-grandchildren, Elliana and Freddy Bingler.   She met her beloved husband at a dance and they continued to attend many dances together throughout their marriage at various German Clubs and developed many friendships over the years.  Her many friendships were very important to her and they enjoyed fun filled gatherings, playing cards, and cruising with their friends.  Her loving presence will be deeply missed by all those who knew and loved her.   Friends and family can visit on Monday, April 18, 2022 from 5-7 PM at Keri Memorial Funeral Home, 125 Main Street, Lincoln Park, NJ 07035  to remember her life.
