Obituary of Ruth Jacobsen

Ruth Jacobsen (nee Buss), 91, of Lincoln Park, Passed away on Monday January 3, 2022. She was born in Mt. Vernon, New York and lived in Totowa for 40 years before moving to Lincoln Park 10 years ago. She worked at Dial America many years and also for the Felsway Corporation in Totowa for 25 years retiring in 1987. She taught guitar classes for Morristown High School and Wayne High Schools. She loved playing guitar and was a singer and songwriter in a band called East Coast Expressions. She was also a member of the Lincoln Park Book Club. Ruth is survived by her loving husband, Donald Jacobsen. She is the dear mother of Judy Barrett and her late husband Paul, Patrick Clare and his wife Ebonita and Donald Jacobsen and his wife Stephanie. Beloved sister of the late Saul Buss and his wife Edith . Grandmother of  Megan, Colin, Julien, Kalel, Kalie, Holly and Hazel. Loving aunt of Rosalie Morrow, Bruce Mack and is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends that were like a second family in Fleur de Lis, Wildwood Crest.

Funeral on Thursday January 6, 2022 at Keri Memorial Funeral Home, 125 Main Street, Lincoln Park at 11:30 AM. Interment, Beth Israel Cemetery, Woodbridge, NJ. Visiting on Thursday from 9:30-11:30 AM.
