Obituary of Concetta Perro

Please share a memory of Concetta to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Concetta Perro, 55, passed away on November 26, 2021 after a long battle with cancer.  Concetta was born on October 20, 1966 in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn. She was born the daughter of Kathrine (Musco) and Victor Delito. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Robert Perro who passed in 2001 after being lovingly married for 12 years. Surviving are her children, daughter Nicole M.Perro and son Christopher R. Perro. Along with her children, surviving are Concetta's fiance Jeffrey Piparo and his daughter Ashley Piparo. Being a single mom for a long duration of her life, it was difficult for her to accomplish both her dreams of having a happy family and becoming a lawyer. However, being the strong, devoted, and passionate woman she was, she was able to do it all. After attending NYU and Rutgers Law School, she went on to work for GE Healthcare division in Princeton, NJ as a corporate lawyer. She worked there for many years before recently being employed by Aerie Pharmaceuticals, Inc. in Bedminster, NJ.  After the tragic passing of her husband Robert Perro, Concetta was able to find love again with fiance Jeffrey Piparo. They enjoyed their freetime together in rural northeast Pennsylvania, often bringing family and friends along for their adventures. The two never lost their sense of fun, spreading joy wherever they went; whether it be the local Harford Fair that they wouldn't dare to miss every August, filling an entire table with family at the Harford Firemen's breakfasts, meeting new people at small diners on country backroads, or heading to the annual Montrose Blueberry Festival where you could always count on Concetta to come home with a bag full of new books for her library at home.  Even though she now walks with the angels, she will always be loved, cherished, and missed by many.

The wake will be at Keri Funeral Home (125 Main Street, Lincoln Park, NJ) on Saturday December 4, 2021, visitation will be from 3pm to 8pm and the funeral service will take place at 7:30pm. The burial will be at Lamb Cemetery (Route 92, Jackson, PA) on Sunday December 5, 2021 at noon.  In lieu of flowers, please make donations to True Friends Animal Welfare Center 16332 State Route 706, Montrose, PA 18801) in her honor.
