Grandma,
There are some many things to be said about the matriarch of our family, the one who taught us all what hard work meant. The woman who her washed laundry with a washboard, the dishes in water so hot it was steaming and kept an immaculate home. I know where my affinity for cleanliness is inherited from.
I will always cherish our Broadway shows followed by dinner at Jekyll and Hyde’s, our Saturday night movies with ice cream and orange juice. Liverwurst sandwich’s for bus rides back to Pennsylvania, your love for the color purple!
I’ll never forget your love and support throughout all of the years, how you would ask me to paint, or assemble furniture for you, knowing my love language is acts of service and what it meant to not only occupy my time but also teaching me how to express my love, in my way.
I’ll always remember adopting Noel for you as Laddie aged. How Laddie and I were the same age until his departure for heaven. I know you’re there with him, Noel and with MJ. Look after MJ for me, please give him a kiss and teach him all of the wonderful things you you taught me until my arrival.
I love you and miss you so much, but I know it was your time. So cheers to 92 amazing years!
