Obituary of John J. Dunney

John J. Dunney 87, of Lincoln Park, passed away on Friday October 1, 2021. He was born in Passaic and lived in Clifton before moving to Lincoln Park in1968.He worked as a Lineman for NJ Bell Telephone for many years retiring over 20 years ago. He was in The United States Marine Corps  and is a Korean War Veteran. John was a member of the American Legion Post 279, a Colorguard Commander and a Drill Instructor Class #1 at Parris Island. Beloved husband of the late Madeline (nee Theil). He is the dear father of Kathy Sennick and her husband John, Stephen Cole and his wife Patricia and the late John J. Dunney Jr.. Grandfather of Samantha Redner, Stephanie Muller, Stephen Cole, and Rachel and Serena Sennick. Great Grandfather of Emma and Parker. Beloved brother of the late Dee Mesbauer and William Dunney Jr. 

Funeral Services will be on Wednesday October 6, 2021, 7:30 PM at Keri Memorial Funeral Home 125 Main Street, Lincoln Park, NJ, 07035. Visiting from 4-8 PM.
