Thoughts and Prayers to Bonnie, Joe's childrem and Joe's family and friends.
Joe and I played sunday softball together for the American Legion with so many other great guys. Joe was not the best player on the team but he was the most valuable. He was our leader. He led by example. He played hard, was clutch and was a brick wall at catcher - nobody tougher. What I remember most though is how much he enjoyed time spent with friends, and how he enhanced the enjoyment of his teammates - he was funny.
Over the 8 years, joe led our team from being one of the worst teams in the leagueb to 3 time champions.
Later in life, our teams competed in bowling. Once again, I remember joe making that time so much fun.
Thank you Joe. I treasure the time we shared.. You will be missed. God Bless

Joe and I have known each other since 7th grade! From the moment I met him there was never a dull moment! He was dynamic, energized, quick with the one liners and sometimes a real pain in the A**!
But overall he was a lot of fun! He was a great bowler and athlete and we had many memorable times competing with each other with the Lincoln Park men's bowling league! He relished winning my paycheck rolling dice on the kitchen floor at 4 in the morning! He wasn't perfect, but who is! I enjoyed his company and he will be missed!
RIP my friend!

My sincere condolences to the family. Joe and I shared many a laugh, story and beer over the years. We didn't see much of each other after we stopped playing softball in town but when we did he was always quick with a smile and a hello. He will be missed.
