Obituary of Josephine DeLaro

Josephine "Josie" DeLaro (nee Curatelo), 97, of Montville, NJ passed away on Wednesday, August 18, 2021.  She was born in New York, NY and lived in the Mountain View section of Wayne, NJ since 1960 and later in Wayne before moving to Montville in 2021. She was Mom to some of us, Grandma or Great Grandma or friend to others, but she was an amazing, beautiful and loving lady to us all.  From her zest and love for life, to her love for the entire family and especially her passion for Bingo !! For anyone whomever had the pleasure of knowing her, this is undeniable.  The world has lost a truly amazing person.  We will all love you forever.  Beloved wife of 73 years to the late Vito J. DeLaro, Sr.  Devoted mother of Frances White of Weed, CA, Vita Harvey and her husband Rob of Ocean Pines, MD, Vito J. DeLaro, Jr. and his wife Cathy of Denville, NJ and the late Sarah Mayer and Michael, Angelo and Jo Ann DeLaro.  Dear sister of the late Angela Raccuglia and Christine Carbone.  She is also survived by eleven grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.  Memorial Visiting will be on Wednesday, August 25, 2021 at Keri Memorial Funeral Home, 125 Main Street, Lincoln Park, NJ from 10 am - 12 noon.
