Obituary of Helen Mary Zammit

Helen Mary Zammit (nee Lombardo) 77, of Towaco, passed away peacefully on Wednesday July 28, 2021 at her home surrounded by her loved ones. She was born in Bronx, NY to the late Pasquale and Helen Lombardo. She settled in Lincoln Park, NJ in 1966 where she raised her family, moving to Towaco in 2000. She was a parishioner of St Joseph's R.C. Church. Helen was a wonderful cook, and an avid gardener. She loved to sing and was incredibly artistic, enjoyed ceramics and painting. Beloved wife of the late Emanuel (Manny) Andrew Zammit. Dear mother of Tina Zammit Dolak and her husband David, Guy Zammit, Dean Zammit and his wife Gina. Cherished sister of Theresa Venturella and the late Stanley Lombardo, William Lombardo, and Thomasina O'Brien. Beloved Grandmother of Jared and Rachel Dolak and Anthony and Julianna Zammit. Helen also leaves behind her beloved companion and faithful dog Angel.

Visiting at Keri Memorial Funeral Home 125 Main Street, Lincoln Park, NJ 07035 on Friday from 2 PM-4 PM, and 7 PM-9 PM

Funeral Liturgy at St Josephs R.C. Church 216 Comly Road, Lincoln Park NJ on Saturday July 31, 2021 at 10 AM. Interment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery 225 Ridgedale Avenue East Hanover.
