To Lisa's family,
I am so sadden to hear of Lisa's passing. Actually, I am heartbroken. Lisa was a true woman of class and high values. I had the honor of working with Lisa for over 10 years during our employment together at Johnson & Higgins. Lisa represented the epitome of hard working, organized and being a most honorable human being. She kept us on our toes and would scald us in a way that only she could pull off - if we slacked off from doing anything that our clients needed done. I recall her giving me a lecture as I headed out of the office while ignoring a request from a client. While I had intended to address the matter after lunch her 'pointed' comments made me turn around and address the issue promptly. And she was absolutely correct - and I have never forgotten that moment. I am sure I retained that motivation from thereon for the rest of my career.
She was helpful with my daughters' homework assignment many years ago - Lisa was kind to be interviewed and share her story about being born in Germany and her experience during WWII - what a brave and (again) honorable soul!!!
I last saw Lisa too many years ago but she has remained in my mind and heart all these years. There are very few people that I can state have had a lasting impression on me. Lisa is one of the few. I am a better person for knowing Lisa.
May God bless her as she enters Heaven. Hey - Saint Peter watch out - Lisa has arrived and no doubt she has ideas of how to run the place and make it better organized!!
