Dear Hela & Ernie, My deepest condolences to you and your families as you mourn the loss to you in this life of your sister & our wonderful friend, Luiza. Yet we also rejoice in our shared hope that she is more alive than ever now with our risen Lord Jesus Christ. What a precious & treasured friend Luiza was to my mother, Dorle, ever since the days of their shared girlhood adventures in Porto Alegre … faithfully keeping in touch even after international moves to the US for Luiza and to Canada for Dorle! In due course Luiza became my friend too, someone who knew me as a child and up to the present day faithfully kept in touch and I know prayed for me. Luiza’s visits to see Dorle the past ten years, together with you, were an immense joy & delight to her, and to me too. Thank you for taking such good care of Luiza.
