Obituary of Myra M. Zinnen

Myra M. Zinnen (nee Kalman) 90, of South Holland, IL passed away in Lincoln Park, NJ on Sunday, April 11, 2021. She was born in Chicago, IL and has lived in South Holland most of her life.  She graduated from Bowen High School, Thornton Community College and Chicago State University. She was an elementary school teacher at Longwood Elementary School in Glenwood, IL for 20 years and retired in 1994.  She was a member of the National Education Association.  Devoted mother of Carla Zinnen of Lincoln Park, NJ and Kenneth Zinnen and his wife Melissa of San Diego, CA.  Loving grandmother of Stephanie Zinnen.  Dear sister of Donna Allen of Bardwell, KY and the late Lois Keller and George Kalman.  She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by her former husband Leonard Zinnen.  Cremation was private.  A Memorial Service will take place at a date to be announced.
