Obituary of Leopolda Kupecky

Leopolda Kupecky, 86, of Lincoln Park, New Jersey passed away peacefully on April 4, 2021. Leopolda loved Jesus, her Lord and Savior, and is dancing with Him right now. She continually talked about how God is always with her, loving and providing for her as she trusted Him wholeheartedly. Leopolda was born in Bukovina, Austria, and came to the United States in 1951 and married Walter Kupecky on May 8, 1954. She has lived in Lincoln Park since 1968. Lee was an assistant to the Perfumist at Ungerer and Co. in Lincoln Park for 20 years and prior to that worked for Union Carbide as a Quality Control Inspector. She attended Jacksonville Chapel in Lincoln Park since 1971.

Leopolda was predeceased by Walter, her husband of 64 years, who passed away April 28, 2019. Dear mother of Irene Dougherty and her husband Jim; Roman Kupecky and his wife Julie; and Barbara Voltmer and her husband Ted. Loving grandmother of Sara Dowsing and her husband Keith; Justin Hancox and his wife Jacqueline; Kyle Kupecky and his wife Kelsey; Heath Kupecky and his wife Maddie; Trevor Kupecky; Samantha Voltmer; and Nicole Voltmer. Loving great-grandmother of Desmond and Jude Dowsing; Thomas and Lyla Hancox; and Hudson, Nolan and Landon Kupecky. Beloved sister of the late Stefania Kwasniewska and the late Marta Staras.

There will be a memorial service on May 8 at 2:00pm at The Chapel Sunset Ministry Center, 150 Sunset Road, Pompton Plains, New Jersey.
