Obituary of Barbara Vreeland

Barbara Frostholm Vreeland, 84, of Montville, NJ, passed away on April 1, 2021 in Morristown.

Visitation will be held at Keri Memorial Funeral Home, 125 Main Street Lincoln Park NJ on Saturday, April 10, 2021 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm followed by a funeral service at 12 pm. Interment is private.

Barbara was born in Shrewsbury, MA to Rudolph R. and Charlotte (Gavin) Frostholm on April 19, 1936. She went to high school at McDuffie School for Girls, Springfield MA and graduated from Colby Sawyer College, New London, NH.

Barbara owned and operated Vreeland Travel for over 20 years. She enjoyed traveling and cruised the world extensively. She organized many memorable group trips for The Chapel. Her interests included the Lake Valhalla Garden Club, Montville Republican Club and American Society of Travel Agents.

Barbara is survived by her husband of 64 years Everett B. (Dick) Vreeland Jr. of Montville, NJ.  Daughters Susan (Michael) Fischetti, Sally Vreeland Novak, and son Peter (Liz) Vreeland. She enjoyed her 9 grandchildren Nicole, Nadine, Nychele, Allison, Dylan, Sarah, Tristan, Jenna and Jessie and her 5 greatgrandchildren Micaiah, Naomi, Avery, Cooper and Amelia.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The Chapel, 264 Jacksonville Road, Lincoln Park, NJ 07035.
