Obituary of Jack Geene

Jack Geene, 93, of Pequannock, NJ, passed away on Thursday, February 25, 2021. He was born in Paterson and moved to his Pequannock home in 1957 to raise his growing family. A highly skilled machinist, he founded G&S Tool and Manufacturing Company in Lincoln Park in 1964 and delivered precision parts to his customers up to his final days. He was a member of The First Reformed Church of Pompton Plains, the Pompton Lakes Elks Lodge No.1895, and the ARC of Warren County. He was a successful Little League Baseball coach for many teams including All-Stars, as well as an avid bowler and golfer. Beloved husband of the late Catherine Geene (nee Vreeland).  Devoted father of David Geene and his wife Patricia of Ogdensburg, Thomas Geene and his wife Salome of Randolph, Gail Geene of Phillipsburg, and Jill Notte and her husband Jerry of Fairfield. Loving grandfather of Christopher Geene and his wife Nikki, Daniel and Seth Geene, Sherilyn and her husband Jason Tuthill, and Sara Jo and her husband Ross Martin. Cherished great-grandfather of Shane, Ryan and Aidan.  Funeral service on Tuesday at 11 AM in-person at The First Reformed Church of Pompton Plains, 529 Newark Pompton Turnpike, Pompton Plains, NJ; or online athttp://firstreformedchurch.com/worship/special-services/. Interment follows at Montville Reformed Church Cemetery, Montville, NJ. Visiting at Keri Memorial Funeral Home, 125 Main Street Lincoln Park, NJ on Monday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Memorial donations may be made to the ARC of Warren County.
