Obituary of Angel Castaneda, Sr..

Angel Castaneda Sr., 61, of Lincoln Park, NJ, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 29, 2021,at Chilton Medical Center in Pompton Plains NJ. Angel was born in Havana, Cuba on March 1st, 1959, the son of Angel Castaneda and Madeline Garcia.He lived there until 1966, when he and his family moved to Brooklyn,NY. For the past 25 years living in New Jersey.A graduate of Kings County College, Angel worked in various sales andmanagement Positions in the Shipping and Logistic industry, most recently for Kuehne + Nagel International.

In his personal time, he was an avid fisherman, talented musician and a lifelong NY Yankees fan. Angel was a deeply devoted father and grandfather.

He was predeceased by his beloved daughter Justine and grandson Christopher, and is survived by his sons Carlos, Anthony and Angel Jr., and five grandchildren.
 

Funeral Mass on Saturday, February 6, 2021 at St. Joseph’s R. C. Church, 216 Comly Road , Lincoln Park, NJ at 3:30 PM. Visiting at Keri Memorial Funeral Home, 125 Main Street, Lincoln Park, NJ on Saturday from 12 PM to 3 PM. Cremation, private.
