Obituary of Jeremy James Hawkes

Jeremy James Hawkes, 42, from Lincoln Park, NJ  passed away on October 13, 2020.

He was born in Denville N.J. at St. Claire’s Hospital. Jeremy lived and grew up in Lincoln Park for the majority of his life. He was a college graduate from William Paterson University with a bachelor’s degree in Communications. Jeremy was an amazing athlete and loved playing football for the Lincoln Park Raiders and then Boonton HS bombers where he achieved many awards. He also loved the great outdoors, fishing, and hiking with his son, Levi.

 He is survived by his son Levi (7), his mother Laurie Hawkes and his brother Jason ( Donna) Hawkes and his step father, Robert Hess. He is the grandson of Ernest Hofstetter and the late Shirley Hofstetter. He is also survived by his Aunt Linda ( Gary) Cerullo and is the beloved uncle of Madison, Makayla, and Parker Hawkes. He also leaves behind aunts, uncles, and cousins.  Jeremy was predeceased by his wife Kelly Uglow Hawkes.

Funeral service will be held at Keri Memorial Funeral Home, 125 Main Street, Lincoln Park, NJ, on Sunday October 18^th at 5pm. Visiting hours are from 3pm-5pm.  The cremation will be private.  To ensure everyone’s safety, masks will be required upon arrival.
