Charles A. Rowe 79, of Greenwood Lake, N.Y. formerly of Lincoln Park, N.J. died on 4/12/14. Visiting will be at The Keri Memorial Funeral Home 125 Main Street Lincoln Park on Tuesday 4-8PM. Cremation will be private. Mr. Rowe was born in Paterson and lived in Lincoln Park before moving to Greenwood Lake in 1984. He was self employed with Chuck's Taxi, Greenwood Lake for 15 years. Prior to that he worked at Reeves International, Pequannock, N.J. as a limousine driver and before that worked as a bus driver for Decamp Bus Lines in Montclair. Mr. Rowe was a veteran with the United States Air Force during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of The American Legion Post 1443, Greenwood Lake, N.Y., a Past Commander of The American Legion Post 174, Wayne, N.J., a member of The Sampson Air Force Base, Geneva, N.Y., a member of The Masonic Lodge, wayne, N.J. and was a charter member of The Lincoln Park First Aid Squad and was one of twelve men and women who started the Squad in 1965. He is the dear father of Charles (Donna) Rowe, Martin (Rayne) Ward and Anne (John Mackey) Bentley. He is the brother of Edna Schroeder and John Fraumberger. Grandfather of 7 and Great Grandfather of 4 Grandchildren. He is the former husband of Anne Rowe Ward. he is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
