Obituary of Elizabeth J Thomas

Elizabeth J. Thomas 85, of Lincoln Park died on April 24, 2018 at home.

Visiting will be at The Keri Memorial Funeral 125 Main Street Lincoln Park on Thursday 5-9PM.  A Memorial Service will be officiated on Wednesday, May 2, 2018 at 10am at The United Methodist Church of Wayne 99 Parish Drive, Wayne.

Born in Newark, Elizabeth lived in Haledon before moving to Lincoln Park in 1962.

She was a school teacher at School # 6 in Paterson.  She was a member of The New York Runners Club and a 55 year member of The United Methodist Church of Wayne.

Elizabeth lived in Japan, and travelled all throughout Europe in her early married years with her husband, Robert.  Her love for travel continued as her family grew.   She traveled extensively with Robert and their children throughout the United States.  She loved to attend Broadway Shows, Music Concerts and attend The Opera.  Some of her favorite musicians/singers were Sir Paul McCartney, James Taylor and Pavorati.

At the age of 62, she began her award winning running career and joined The New York Road Runners Club.

She is the wife of the late Robert B. Thomas.  Mother of Megan Thomas Lydiard (Robert), Jennifer A. Thomas Erickson (James) and Robert E. Thomas (Gabriella).  Grandmother of Jade, John, Victoria and Jayme.  Great Grandmother of 3 grandchildren.
