Obituary of Donald C Rastall

Don Rastall, 87 died peacefully on March 13, 2016 at Aristacare in Manchester, NJ. He was born December 18, 1928 in New Brunswick, NJ. He was the son of Anna and Birdsall Rastall. He joined the Army in 1951 and was a decorated Korean war veteran with six medals. He was a Union Bricklayer. In 1955 he moved to Ortley Beach to work at Harborside Marina with his father and three brothers. He will be remembered for the love of his vegetable garden and fruit trees. He also enjoyed surf fishing and rooting for the Rangers. He was predeceased by his brother Edward Rastall and sisters Edna Hess, Helen Dugan and Ruth Mabey. He is survived by his brothers Birdsall and Robert Rastall and his sister Dorothy Rupp and her husband Charles and sister-in-law Ellen Rastall as well as many nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 18 at 10am at Keri Memorial Funeral Home, 125 Main St, Lincoln Park, NJ 07035.
