Obituary of John S. Sass

John S. Sass age 70 of Lincoln Pk. passed Dec.2nd. Born in Montclair he resided most of his life in Lincoln Pk. A 20 yr. member of the Lincoln Pk. P.D. he retired as a Sgt , he later became an International Investigator for Continental Airline , then Ops. Mgr. with Allied Barton Security.   He enjoyed spending time on his boat "Latitudes" and after receiving his Captains license participated with Seatow & Rescue Ops. His trips to Tortola and the British Virgin Islands were his true source of "R & R"Predeceased by parents Sigmund & Margaret , sister Dorothy, he is survived by his wife Irene and 4 " Awesome sisters-in-law" and their families. Visitation at Keri Memorial is Thurs. 2-4 & 7-9pm  Thurs. 12/7 , Mass 10am in Our Lady of Good Council , Fri. Pompton Plains followed by interment at Our Lady of The Magnificat , Kinnelon. In lieu of flowers donation to St. Judes Childrens Hosp. would be appreciated.
