Obituary of Marc R Ziegler

Marc Raymond Ziegler, of Towaco died on December 29, 2018.

Visiting will be at The Keri Memorial Funeral Home 125 Main Street Lincoln Park on Thursday 6-9PM.  Services will be on Friday at 10am at The Montville United Methodist Church, Towaco.  Everyone will meet at the church Friday Morning.  Interment Laurel Grove Cemetery, Totowa 

Born in Jersey City, Marc grew up in Totowa and has lived in Towaco for the past 40 years.

He was a General Foreman with New Jersey Transit Rail, Kearny for 36 years.  He served in The Unites States Army in the 101st Airborne in Vietnam and was the recipient of four Purple Hearts. He also served two years in The Army National Guard.

Marc was a member of The American Legion Post 279, Lincoln Park, a member of The Military Vehicle Preservation Association and The President of The Board of Trustees of The Montville United Methodist Church. 

He is the beloved husband of Marilyn Geene Ziegler.  Father of Matthew Ziegler and Laura Bitondo and her husband Bryan .  Brother of Todd (Barbara) Ziegler, Robin (Claudia Ferrell) Ziegler and Gretchen (John) Stawicki.  Grandfather of Kyla and Gracie Bitondo.  He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
