Obituary of Floyd Lewis

~~Floyd Lewis,  affectionately known as "Poppy" died on July 19, 2017.

A Memorial Service will be officiated on Saturday, July 29, 2017 at 4PM at Church of Christ 382 Fairmount Ave Chatham Township, N.J. 07928.

Born in Camden, Alabama, Floyd lived in Paterson and Parsippany before moving to Morristown 30 years ago.

He was a Lab Supervisor at Fischer Scientific, Whippany for 25 years.  He also was a dynamic song leader for The Church's of Christ.  He was a Bible School Teacher and  minister.

He is the beloved husband of Sherry Durham Lewis.  Dear Father of Anthony and Janet Lewis, Alesia Langley (Jeff) and Tammy Mitchell (Melvin).  Brother of Claudine, Daisy, Mildred and Mary Lou.  He is also survived by a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations to The American Cancer Society of The American Heart Association would be appreciated.
