Obituary of Margaret Anne DeLuca

Margaret "Peggy" Leary DeLuca devoted mother passed away on February 9, 2017 after fighting Stage IV Ovarian Cancer for ten and one half years. Memorial Visiting will be at The Keri Memorial Funeral Home 125 Main Street Lincoln Park on Friday 3:30Pm-7:30PM. A Memorial Mass will be officiated on Saturday 11am at St. Joseph's Church 216 Comly Road Lincoln Park. Everyone will meet at church. A repast will immediately follow the Mass. Born in Montclair, Peggy grew up in Bloomfield before moving to Lincoln Park. She graduated East Orange Catholic High School (1966) and Newark State College (1970). Peg worked at St. Joseph's School as a teacher and librarian, at Newsweek Magazine a a department head and Berkeley College in The Workforce Department, developing grants. She is the dear mother of Joan, Mike and adopted son Jeff. Sister of Eileen Leary. Daughter of the late James and Frances Leary.
