Obituary of Joseph W Brancato

Joseph W. Brancato 86, of Lincoln Park passed away on March 1, 2017. Visiting will be at The Keri Memorial Funeral Home 125 Main Street Lincoln Park on Wednesday 2-4 & 7-9PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be officiated on Thursday at 10AM at St. Joseph's Church, Lincoln Park. Interment Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery, Wrightstown. Born in Garfield, Mr. Brancato lived in Lincoln Park since 1965. Joe was employed by Arrow Carrier and Roadway Express as a Truck Diver retiring after 30 years. He served in The United States Army in The 1st Infantry Tank Division (Big Red 1) from 1948-1952. He was a member of The American Legion Post 279 Lincoln Park and The South Hackensack VFW. He was active in The Lincoln Park PAL and Boy Scout Programs. He was a member of The Democratic Club and served on The Lincoln Park Town Council. He is the beloved husband of the late Rose Brancato. Father of Mark and Greg Brancato. Brother of Virginia Mancuso, Marguerite Miller and Jennie Panarisi. Grandfather of Joseph and Christina.
