Obituary of Walter Sedlacik

Walter J. Sedlacik 88, of Towaco died on August 22, 2018.

Visiting will be at The Keri Memorial Funeral Home 125 Main Street Lincoln Park on Wednesday 2-4 & 7-9PM.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be officiated on Thursday 10AM at St. Pius X Church, 24 Changebridge Road Montville.

Walter was born on June 6, 1930 to his parents John and Mary (Mizera) Sedlacik and came from a family of 14 children.  He was predeceased by his brothers William and Joseph in infancy, John, Emil, Edward and Al and his sisters Agnes Wyka, Mary Walsh, and Betty Janosko.  He is also predeceased by his loving wife Ronnie (1999) and his granddaughter Kellie (2016).

He is survived by his beloved daughters, Diane Weston and her husband Scott, and their children Katie, Andrew and Alex,  Judy Burns and her children Dan and Valerie and Lisa Loesner and her children Daniel, Brittney and Matthew.  Brother of Joe and his wife Rosemary, Richard and his wife Karen, Julia Walsh, Ann Castiglia and her husband Joe.  He is also survived by dozens of nephews, nieces and cousins.  

Walter worked for A & P Company for 43 years retiring as store manage in 1995.  He was a parishioner at St Pius X Church since its inception and was an Eucharistic Minister for many years serving Chilton Hospital and area nursing homes.  He was a daily Mass Communicant. 

Walter was a much loved neighbor who had a great sense of humor and perspective and he knew how to laugh at life.  He always said he had a great life and he was a very happy go lucky person.  He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
