Obituary of Richard Dion

Richard Dion age 73 passed May 5th. Born in Paterson resided in Lincoln Pk. 29 yrs.  Richard owned and operated Dion Enterprises in Paterson. He served in the Army 101st Airborne Div. in Viet Nam  &  was   awarded 2 Purple Hearts one for surviving the fierce battle of Ia Drang Valley. He belonged to Masonic Lodge # 80 Lyndhurst , in 2010 he was ordained a Minister in the Lutheran Orthodox Church. Visitation is Sunday May 7th from noon to 3 pm , private entombment will take place at a later date. He was predeceased by his beloved wife Theresa Dec.22,1999. survivors include his daughter Colleen Dion (husband Paul Eder) brothers Robert Dion , Raymond (wife Elizabeth) , nieces Karen Pfeiff (husband Richard) and Kelly Gatton. In lieu of flowers donations to the C J D Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
